Yogmudra Steps and Benefits

We can perform the Yogmudra in either Padmasana or Vajrasana, But the majority of yogis only perform Yogmudra in Padmasana. People who are unable to sit in Padmasana can perform Yogmudra in Vajrasana.

How to do Yogamudra

Sit on the floor in Padmasana. Keep your waist and neck straight. Place your arms behind your back. Tightly hold the left wrist with your right hand. Put your left hand’s thumb inside your fist.

Yogmudra

Make a forward stretch of the chest. Stretch your body upward while inhaling, bend your lower back forward and downward while exhaling, and then gently rest your forehead on the ground.

Hold this position for a time while breathing normally. Taking a breath, extend the hands, leaning slightly forward, then turn over. Afterward, relax with a mudra.

Manipura Chakra is the center of attention.

Here, it’s necessary to keep in mind that the wrist being held should be stretched out and should touch the waist.

  • A person with high blood pressure should avoid performing this yoga mudra.

  • Women who are pregnant shouldn’t perform this mudra.
  • Even when you are menstruating, you should avoid using this yoga mudra.
